Fall is in the air!!! Make a plan to come down to the Market Saturday morning and load up on fresh fruits and veggies! Fall means the beginning of different things making an appearance at the market so stop by and see what new items you can find.
Of course many other things can also be found such as: jams, jellies, soaps, scarves, knitted, crocheted, and sewn items, herbal remedies including poison ivy relief and bug spray, pottery, jewelry and more. All items found at the market are locally grown or locally made in Jackson or surrounding counties. Pick up a Map of Vendors at the Information Booth for more details on the market and its vendors.
Also, this is Pete’s Cheese last week at the market until next year so if you are a fan of his mozzarella then be sure to stop by and pick some up. His cheese freezes well!
Our new Friends of the Market program has begun. Become a Friend and you will be able to check out books and DVDs from our Market Library! $5 minimum donation is required so even kids can become Friends of the Market!
And because people are beginning to ask, I will let you know that the market is Year Round. Our last outdoor market is the last Saturday in October and our first indoor market is the first Saturday in November. The indoor market is at the Community Table – just across the bridge and through the park. The Indoor market hours are from 10 -1.
