The Jackson County Farmers Market is beginning its Shed Your Change Campaign. Market customers will have a chance to donate their loose change in order to raise funds for a new storage shed which will be built in the Bridge Park Parking Lot.
Other opportunities for fundraising: at the Market will be March 22nd and March 29th.
The Monthly Fundraising Brunch will be locally sourced sausage and egg biscuits served Saturday March 22nd from 10 -1 during the winter market. Ron Arps will be serving Trillium Farms Pork, Shared Blessings Eggs and Backwoods Bakery biscuits.
An Appalachian Square Dance called by State Representative Joe Sam Queen will take place Saturday March 29th from 7 pm – 9pm at 492 West Main Street (the former Main Design Location) in downtown Sylva – stay tuned for more details.
The Market continues to be indoors through the month of March each Saturday from 10 -1 at the Community Table in Downtown Sylva near Poteet Park. Greens, sprouts, eggs, pork, trout (new this week!), herbs and spices, coffee, baked goods and many fine crafted items are for sale.
