Hi Market Folks,
Tomorrow you will find strawberries and NOW blueberries! – Delicious. Still lots of greens – find recipes for cooking greens on our recipe tab. Honey, some greenhouse grown summer delights such as tomatoes and cucumbers are around. Trout and eggs will be available as well. You can still find veggie starts as well as some flower starts and plants. Pick out a deliciously made card and other locally made treasures for Father’s Day this Sunday.
This week 4H is postponing children’s activities until next Saturday, but Family Art at the Market – a free activity for kids of all ages will be under the Pavilion from 10 – 12 – come see what treasures you can create. Storytime with City Lights starts at 11 also under the Pavilion. We now have coloring books created by Western Art Students with 20 pages of beneficial insects, pests, and weeds at the Information table – suggested donation is $2. Proceeds will go toward the shed.
Don’t forget, we accept SNAP, Credit and Debit cards at the Information booth. Swipe your card in exchange for tokens.
See you tomorrow, it should be a gorgeous Saturday!
