Hi Farmers Market Customers,
Saturday is a special occasion in downtown Sylva. The Town of Sylva will be celebrating their 125th anniversary from 10:00—3:00 in the Bridge Park area. The Market will begin at 9 and some vendors will stay til 3:00—although most of the produce vendors will be leaving at noon.
In the attached map I have indicated where you can park for easiest access to the market and to the festival. There are three options for parking —across the bridge and through Poteet Park, next to the motel or in the lot next to Peebles. I have also indicated where you can not park—in our usual extra parking area near the ARF building, and where you can not drive—down Railroad Ave coming from the East or on Mill Street.
You can enter downtown via Gridstaff Cove Rd or from Schulman Street. Mill Street will be closed, and traffic will be re-routed around to Munciipal Dr.
See our 125 map for customer to find out about parking and driving downtown this Saturday.
Saturday Mad Batter will be donating proceeds from the sale of their Pumpkin Lasagna to the market and on
Sunday the 12th from 11:30—2:30 Signature Brew will be hosting the 2nd Annual Fundraising Brunch with a portion of the food sales and all raffle sale proceeds going to benefit the Market. Raffle items vary – stop by Sunday to check them out!!
