The Jackson County Farmers Market will hold a Holiday Bazaar this Saturday December 5th and next Saturday December 12th and the Community Table in downtown Sylva from 10:00 – 1:00. The Bazaar will be filled with festive holiday cheer, a craft for children, music, a sausage and egg biscuit fundraiser and a lot of opportunity to shop local. All items found at the market have been grown or created close to home. We still have veggies this time of year, so come out and support your local hard-working farmer and enjoy the fresh taste of local greens in December. It is quite a treat. Locally crafted soaps, candles, Native American crafts, mittens, pottery, note cards and more will be available. Also, baked goods, granola, savoy cabbage, lettuce, spinach, radishes, broccoli, and other winter veggies can be found. Call 828-399-0290 with questions and don’t forget we accept SNAP, credit and debit. Gift Certificates available.
