The Jackson County Farmers Market is an independent collective of local farmers, vendors, and crafters. The Market receives no grant funding and is a taxable non-profit. We do have a board and one paid staff, the Market Manager. So that we can continue to promote our vendors and provide the quality of the market, we ask that you and/or your business consider becoming a sponsor of the Jackson County Farmers Market.
Since we are a taxable non-profit, we seek to work with our sponsors in exchange for visibility, marketing, and partnership opportunities so that we can continue our dedication to consumer education and community involvement as a critical component of building sales for local agriculture. Vendors’ fees at the Jackson County Farmers Market cover the basic cost of operating the markets, but in order to keep vendors’ fees as low as possible and still fund market programs, the Jackson County Farmers Market solicits sponsors to support its programming goals, which include market events, food outreach, and more.
Your sponsorship provides much-needed funding and support of the Jackson County Farmers Market, which provides the community with a marketplace for food grown locally using sustainable farming methods and for locally produced, handcrafted goods and prepared foods. It will be used to pay the operating expenses and advertising costs of the market.
Annual sponsorship packages begin at $150.00. At this level, sponsors will have their logo and web link displayed on our website.
Sponsors that give $250.00 will have their logo and business name displayed at the market’s information booth and their logo and web link will be displayed on our website.
Furthermore, sponsors tap into community goodwill, with the association of your business or non-profit with the Jackson County Farmers Market, dedicated to promoting sustainable economic growth and healthy living in Jackson County and the surrounding area.
Other opportunities for more visibility may be available should you desire more exposure for your business. We are receptive to new ideas.
If you are interested in learning more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Market Manager, Lisa McBride at firstname.lastname@example.org.
